Scouting is a system implemented here on Newgrounds to help separate genuine artists from art thieves, rule-breaking art, etc.
Unscouted artists currently have their work displayed in the "undiscovered" section of the art portal, while scouted artists will have their work displayed in the "Approved Artists" section.
In order to get scouted, you need a minimum of 4 artworks. Then you must accept an invite from an artist who wants to scout you. Once you are scouted, you can also scout other artists.
